Living in Limbo

There’s a strange tension between where I am and where I want to be. That space in between—the limbo—is where most of life happens, yet it feels the least fulfilling. Like I’m stuck on pause waiting for something to hit play.

I know the goals I have. I know what I’m building. I can even feel how close I’m getting sometimes. But then reality kicks in—rent is due, the loan payment hits, and I’m tired after work. I start questioning everything. Should I be doing something else? Should I take the “safe” route? Should I abandon the dream and just coast?

But here’s the thing—I don’t want to coast. I’ve done that before. And while it’s easier, it’s not worth it.

This blog is helping me realize something: documenting the journey is part of the journey. When you’re in limbo, even one step forward matters. Sharing these thoughts, checking in with myself, and being honest with where I am has become a tool. Something real in a world that often feels foggy.

I don’t know exactly where this road leads. But I do know I’m walking it with intention—even if it’s one tired step at a time.

So if you’re in that same limbo—feeling like you’re floating between “here” and “there”—you’re not alone. Let’s figure it out together.
